Raiders at Cleveland Browns: Instant reactions from Week 15

A win is a win

Sure, the Raiders were expected to win this game, and yes, the Browns were without so many starters on both sides of the ball, but a win is a win in this league. As we see every week, teams come out of nowhere, much like the Detroit Lions did against Arizona on Sunday, so a road victory in the cold weather on the east coast is one we will take.

Cleveland was without both their No. 1 and No. 2 quarterbacks, as well as their left tackle, star wide receiver, and tight end. On defense, they were completely depleted in the secondary, so many felt that the Raiders would blow out the Browns, something I did not see happening during my preview heading into this matchup.

This is a team that has been through a roller coaster of a season on and off the field this year, and incredibly, they are very much alive in the AFC Playoff race. They take on a Drew Lock-led Denver Broncos team at home in Week 16, a very winnable game, with a chance to continue to improve their playoff standing.
