Raiders vs Broncos: Offensive Grades for 2021 Week 16
Wide Receivers
How Hunter Renfrow didn’t make the initial Pro Bowl rosters is beyond me, as he is incredible in both running routes and catching the football. Renfrow finished the game with only three receptions for 40 yards but one of those receptions was a touchdown reception and another one of those made Raiders history as he joined Hall Of Famers Tim Brown and Jerry Rice as the only Raiders wide receivers with at least 90 catches in a season.
Zay Jones and Desean Jackson also played well as a replacement for Bryan Edwards combining for 10 catches and 94 yards with multiple nice catches from each of them, and Zay doing his awesome get up off the ground trick. I’m still sitting here wondering how he does that.
Overall the Raiders wide receivers did well against a very tough Broncos defensive back group. For a group that has had to be pieced together weekly, this may have been their best effort as a group since the Thanksgiving Day victory over Dallas.
