Raiders vs Broncos: Offensive Grades for 2021 Week 16

Tight Ends

Raiders superstar tight end Darren Waller was once again out for this game and has been since getting injured during the Thanksgiving victory over the Dallas Cowboys. So it’s been up to Foster Moreau and Daniel Helm to step up and fill in for him, and Moreau has done a decent job of doing just that.

Now, of course, he is no Darren Waller, because there are only a few other tight ends in the league that possess the talent that Waller does, but Moreau has improved his blocking in a minor way and continues to be a pretty good target for Derek Carr. In this game in particular Moreau didn’t have his biggest receiving game in his career or but he did average 10 yards a catch before his game sealing catch so it might’ve ended up being one of his more important ones.

Moreau had a season high in receiving yards in this game just passing his high of 65 that he put up just last week against the Cleveland Browns. If Waller is going to continue to be out for an even longer then he has been already it’s good to know that the Raiders have a good, young player in Foster Moreau that’s able to contribute in such a crucial game and moment.
