4 reasons the Raiders will beat the Indianapolis Colts in Week 17

The State of the Colts Offensive Line

COVID-19 and other issues have plagued not only the Raiders but the league entirely in a bizarre 2021 season which finally saw the return of fans to stadiums.

As much as the Raiders have had their hands full with hardships, the Colts may have outdone them recently.

The entirety of the offensive line has dealt with COVID-19 issues, and although most of it will be intact for this matchup, you do have to wonder about the conditioning of this offensive line coming back off the heels of not only the illness but also the lack of practicing and game reps.

You never want to benefit from someone’s issues, but this may end up being the case for the Raiders. No team has benefited more over the last couple of weeks than the Raiders. With teams routinely missing key players due to the COVID-19 outbreak and injuries alike. The Raiders may be facing their third team in a row not featuring their starting quarterback.

The woes of this Colts offensive line is surely not in the talent department, but with so many issues surrounding them, you do have to question if health; both physically and mentally will be intact in this battle for a playoff berth, and maybe a key reason the Raiders can pull out a victory.
