Las Vegas Raiders at Indianapolis Colts: 3 things we learned

Raiders are finding ways to win games late

It is never easy for the Las Vegas Raiders, as their last three games have gone down to the wire. Luckily for them, Derek Carr is adept at making plays late in games to win, and on Sunday, he once again brought his team back from a potential loss.

First, there was the outstanding throw to Hunter Renfrow for a late touchdown on a fourth-and-2 play, giving the Raiders their first lead of the second half. Then, after the Colts tied the game up on a field goal, making it 20-20, Las Vegas got the ball back, and Carr and company engineered another drive to win the game in the closing seconds.

The big play once again included Renfrow, who went over 1,000 yards for the season in the game and is only a few catches away from the single-season reception record for a wide receiver. His catch and run on a third-and-10 looked to be a touchdown, but Renfrow was ruled down, and the Raiders would have to settle for another game-winning field goal by the automatic Daniel Carlson.
