Will Derek Carr and the Raiders season finale against the Chargers be grand?
Offensive Weapons
Josh Jacobs – RB
One of the team’s more underwhelming performers has been starting running back Josh Jacobs this season. As of now, he will not come close to breaking the 1,000-yard rushing mark this season.
While he has been plagued by injuries, his production this season has only yielded one contest where he managed to generate 100 or more yards rushing against a Chargers team who is ranked second to last in rushing yards allowed. Both he and the offensive front must be massive contributors if the Raiders want to succeed.
Hunter Renfrow – WR
There isn’t much to say about the Silver and Black’s best wide receiver. He is having a career season and is just one reception away from having 100 on the season. Versus the Colts, he broke the 1,000-yard receiving threshold in just 16 games played.
He is a magician in his silky smooth route-running and craftiness after the catch; the Raiders also expect another big performance from him.
Darren Waller – TE
The Raiders’ star TE has been sidelined since the team’s Thanksgiving Day victory against the Dallas Cowboys. Between COVID-19 and other lingering injuries, Waller’s presence has been missed. It is uncertain whether or not he will be available for this week’s game, but the entire team and fanbase should be thrilled if he is.
As the week progresses, keep an eye out for his status because he will make the most of the opportunity if there is a chance for him to play.
