2022 NFL 7-Round Mock Draft: Las Vegas Raiders fix offensive voids early

841. . Running Back. Rebels . Jerrion Ealy. 223. player

With their final pick in the 2022 NFL Draft, the No. 223 overall selection, the Raiders bring in more talent at the running back spot. They will have Josh Jacobs back next season, as well as Kenyan Drake, so they really only need a No. 3 back that can shoulder the load in blowouts, or give both Jacobs and Drake a rest.

Jerrion Ealy from Ole Miss is a player I really like, and someone that I believe could be a Day 3 selection in this year’s draft. He is an outstanding do-everything player, can run the football, has solid hands, and could actually be a return guy at the next level.

Overview

Overall, this would be an excellent haul for the Silver and Black, as they bolster the offensive line and wide receiver group early on, and then turn their attention to the defense. Bolstering both the interior of the offensive and defensive lines is huge for this team next offseason, as is getting some depth along the edge, so this seven-player haul could net immediate returns for a team on the doorstep of the playoffs this season.

It remains to be seen whether or not Mike Mayock will be the general manager next season, or if Rich Bisaccia will get the permanent tag as the head coach. Either way, this haul addresses major areas of need for the Raiders, and hopefully, they can hit a few more home runs in free agency.
