Las Vegas Raiders: 2021 Week 18 Fantasy Football Start ‘Em or Sit ‘Em
Sit ‘Em
Zay Jones, Wide Receiver
The 26-year-old receiver has turned into a pleasant surprise for the Raiders, and it may seem odd to say there will be a regression for a player who is coming off an eight-catch, 120-yard performance.
However, with the return of Waller this week, the high number of targets to Jones will surely dwindle this week as Derek Carr will likely favor looking the way of Waller and Hunter Renfrow.
Jones could still provide an important role in this contest, and he will be looked upon as Carr now fully trusts the receiver, however, he will not see as many targets as he has this last few weeks.
Sit the receiver in this contest.
Foster Moreau:
Of course, it would seem like common sense to sit the backup tight end as Waller returns. But even when Waller was available, the Raiders favor using a two-tight end system in many of its offensive play calls, so Moreau will still see a lot of the field.
However, it is huge Waller is back, and after coming off a disappointing one-catch, nine-yard performance, Moreau will be looked upon possibly even less.
Could the Las Vegas Raiders and LA Chargers both make the playoffs?
The Las Vegas Raiders and Los Angeles Chargers could both get into the playoffs thanks to a wonky scenario in Week 18 of the 2021 NFL season.
He can possibly salvage his value as he is a solid red-zone target. But do not expect much from the tight end as he has essentially disappeared from the offense, and this will continue even further with the return of Waller.
