In yet another wild finish, the Las Vegas Raiders are going to the playoffs on the leg of Daniel Carlson after beating Los Angeles in Week 18.
The Las Vegas Raiders have officially punched their ticket to the playoffs in what may be their wildest game of the season. A 35-32 victory over the Los Angeles Chargers as time expired in overtime not only sent them to the playoffs but knocked their hated rivals out.
And with this win, they will be heading to Cincinnati for a rematch of Week 11 against Joe Burrow and the Bengals. There have been so many times this season where it looked like the Raiders were about to implode, but somehow they keep finding ways to win.
Sunday night against the Chargers can only be defined as “entirely insane,” which is where the Raiders have been living all year. A four-game win streak to close the regular season has this team that was left for dead as the No. 5 seed in the playoffs, an incredible accomplishment for head coach Rich Bisaccia and his players.
So what can be learned from this game?
Here are three things that we not only learned from Sunday night but have come to define this 2021 season.
