Raiders vs Chargers: Offensive Grades for 2021 Week 18

Offensive Line

The offensive line was nowhere near the worst they have been this season but still performed average at best as a unit.

At the beginning of the game, the offensive line was getting some push and created holes for Josh Jacobs to effectively run through, but later those openings were not often there.

Jacobs had a great day on the ground, but this was mostly his own doing with the aforementioned 11 forced missed tackles and hard running through tight spaces and the ability to bounce it outside when he needed to.

In terms of pass protection, the offensive line allowed 3 sacks resulting in a loss of 18 yards so it could have been worse.

An individual bright spot that should be mentioned is center Andre James. James didn’t allow a single pressure and was PFF’s 10th highest rated center of the week. He also made a great, game-changing block on the 2nd-level on Jalen Richards clutch 23-yard run mentioned in the last slide.
