Raiders: 3 Keys to victory against the Bengals in the Wild Card round

Stop Joe Mixon

As we stated earlier, the Raiders did a nice job against Burrow and the passing attack in the first outing between these two teams, as the second-year quarterback threw for a season-low 148 yards against this Raiders defense. While they did solid against the pass, the run was another story, as Joe Mixon ran all over them to the tune of 148 yards and a touchdown.

Usually, the running back and quarterback do not equal each other in yards, but that was the case in their blowout victory against the Raiders back in Week 11. On Saturday, you can be sure that both teams are going to try and establish the run game, and it will likely come down to whether or not Mixon or Jacobs gets it going on the ground.

Overall, this is not a bad draw for the Raiders, as they are playing at a very high level right now, and get a Bengals team that sat a lot of their stars, including Burrow in Week 18. Sometimes that can hurt a team heading into the playoffs, but it also gave their stars some rest, so expect an exciting game to kick off Super Wild Card Weekend on Saturday.
