Raiders Wild Card vs Cincinnati: 3 Bengals to worry about Saturday

Joe Mixon

It is obvious here to call out Joe Mixon first. The 25-year-old running back shredded the Raiders defense in the first meeting. With over 120 yards rushing to go along with two touchdowns, the Silver and Black had no answer for the bruising back.

Fast forward to the Wild Card meeting this weekend, and the Raiders run defense looks like a whole new unit heading into this contest.

Since the dominating display from Mixon, the Raiders have only allowed one 100-yard rusher. That is a staggering six out of its last seven games.

Mixon has been cold as of late though, and although he followed up his 100-yard display in Vegas with an even better one the following week, he has not rushed for 100-yards in a game since Week 12.

The onus will be on this Raiders run defense to once again snuff out its opposition, something they have proven they can do in recent weeks. Stopping Mixon will be key if the Raiders will look to move on to the next round of the playoffs.
