Raiders Wild Card vs Cincinnati: 3 Bengals to worry about Saturday

Trey Hendrickson

It is no easy task to stop the ability of a player who is fifth in all of the league in sacks — however, this is what the Raiders must do this week in Cincinnati, as they face off against one of the best defensive ends in the AFC in Trey Hendrickson.

The Bengals signaled in on improving their pass rush this offseason and signed Hendrickson to a lucrative four-year contract, which was coming off the heels of a breakout season in New Orleans. He repaid their faith in dominating fashion by upping his sack total this season to 14 and becoming a force on this defensive line every week.

The Raiders are very familiar with Hendrickson, especially quarterback Derek Carr. He was constantly a force in the last meeting and even got a sack on Carr.

With an offensive line that has been shaky this season, it will be a tall task to ask of them to stop the Pro Bowl selection in Hendrickson, but double-teaming him and keeping him away from Carr will signify a Raider win or loss in this one.
