The Las Vegas Raiders travel to Cincinnati to take on the Bengals in their first playoff game since 2016, and here is why they will win.

The Las Vegas Raiders are finally back in the playoffs, and It feels so good to write that sentence. It feels much different than the last time the Raiders made the playoffs because in 2016, Derek Carr and Matt McGloin both got hurt, and the Raiders had to throw rookie Connor Cook in what would be the first start of his career against JJ Watt and the Houston Texans.

Needless to say, Cook and the Raiders did not fare well in that game and the Raiders have pretty much been a train wreck since then. This season definitely feels much different though, and it has since trading camp heck the team and media themselves were telling us that it felt different in training camp and Raider Nation was still skeptical.

Then controversy, tragedy, and plain stupidity hit and it looked like the Raiders were the same old team that they have been the past two years, but toward the end of the season with their backs we’re against the wall this Raiders team showed us who they were one of the most resilient teams the NFL has ever seen. This may be the first official playoff game of the year, but the Raiders have technically have been playing in their own version of the playoffs these past four weeks.

If the Raiders had lost one of these past four games they would’ve been eliminated from playoff contention anyway. This upcoming Saturday the Raiders have a date with the Bengals this time in Cincinnati where the weather is not looking good at the moment.

The Bengals have beaten the Raiders already this season 32-13 in week 11, and even though that seems like it was a blowout if you guys remember the game was pretty close up until the Bengals ran away with it in the fourth quarter. The Raiders had a real shot and probably should’ve beaten the Bengals that week and they still have a chance to beat them this weekend and here are four reasons why the Raiders will get their revenge and beat the Bengals on Super Wild Card Saturday.
