Quarterback Experience

I’m not talking about playoff experience here because as we all know, although this will be the second time in Derek Carr’s career that he has led the Raiders to the playoffs, it will be the first time he can play in the playoffs, but I don’t need to bring up that painful Christmas Eve memory.

But even though this will be both Carr’s and Burrow’s first career playoff start, Carr has been in the league for eight seasons while Burrow has had less than two years of experience.

That does mean something when it gets late into the season into the postseason.

Now I’m not here to have an argument about who is the better or more talented of the two because you could say Burrow is more talented than Carr, and while that might be true, a ton of people count Aaron Rodgers as the most talented quarterback to ever play in the league and he only has one ring while a player like Tom Brady has six.

Carr has seen and been through pretty much everything in his career with the Raiders both on and off the field there isn’t a defense or defensive set that Carr hasn’t seen and has been through the wringer off the field not only including this season. I’m betting on Carr’s overall leadership experience to be enough to lead this team to victory against the Bengals on Saturday.
