Wide Receiver
In the biggest shocker of the 2021 NFL season, the Raiders released Henry Ruggs III after his involvement in a fatal car crash heading into their game against New York. That left the team searching for a deep threat to pair with the likes of Zay Jones and Hunter Renfrow on the outside, and they were able to get some good play from DeSean Jackson down the stretch.
While Renfrow started the year as a complement to Ruggs, he turned into a superstar for the Raiders, playing elite football with star tight end Darren Waller out. Now, the Raiders need to go out and get that deep threat that they are lacking, and this draft has no shortage of first-round wide receivers, a spot they could use the No. 22 pick on.
Looking past the names that will likely be gone in Garrett Wilson and Jameson Williams, Las Vegas could end up with Chris Olave, Treylon Burks, Jahan Dotson, or Drake London in the first round. London is a tall wideout who proved to be a deep threat at USC, and if he is available, that is the player I would take above the other three.
