Las Vegas Raiders need to make Davante Adams priority No. 1
He’ll Improve the Offense as a Whole
Adding Adams won’t just benefit him and Carr, it’ll also help the rest of the offense. As seen with Henry Ruggs, the presence of a true number one receiving threat opens up lanes for the other receivers on the field.
And when the other receivers are Hunter Renfrow, Zay Jones, and Darren Waller, Carr should be able to find an open man on almost every play.
We saw the same situation back in 2016, as the Raiders had Amari Cooper and Michael Crabtree. That season, Cooper and Crabtree finished with over 1,000 yards, and their abilities as number one receiving threats opened up the field for their teammates.
Las Vegas is not short on talent when it comes to their offensive weapons even without Adams, but his presence brings that unit to the next level. Truly, that could be Adams’ biggest impact on the team.
