Where does Raiders Derek Carr land in our complete AFC QB rankings?

Teddy Bridgewater is the definition of an average NFL quarterback. In 2021, this was still true. With 3,052 yards, eighteen touchdowns, and just seven interceptions, the Denver Broncos were 7-7 under his watch. As mentioned, about as average as it gets.

This is not necessarily a bad thing, however. At one point, “Teddy B” even had the Broncos at 3-0. However, it is always hard to win in the NFL with a replacement-level quarterback. Sure, he isn’t bad but he isn’t very good either.

Due to this, he will be a free agent again in the 2022 off-season. Under new head coach Nathaniel Hackett, Denver could opt to bring him back, after all, you could do worse. Either way, expect Bridgewater to be a hot commodity as teams realize the value of having a passer who won’t embarrass them.
