3. Other Contract decisions

We gave Carr his own discussion because he matters so much as the QB, but plenty of other free agents and possible extensions are on the table for the Raiders.

Starting in free agency, the Raiders have some key guys that they will need to make decisions on. The biggest is Casey Hayward, who is coming off a huge bounce-back season in 2021, and with the Raiders being thin a corner, he is a big need.

Other guys like Quinton Jefferson and Zay Jones came up big late in the season to help the Raiders get in the playoff, so they will have some weight at the negotiation table.

And beyond the free agency, more extensions will likely need to be worked out this offseason. Young players like Maxx Crosby, Hunter Renfrow, and Josh Jacobs will be looking for a long-term deal (and deserving so).

That is a lot of money to negotiate, and Ziegler will have to make some big decisions to start his general manager career.

It should be another intriguing off-season for the Silver and Black.
