Romeo Doubs: Receiver, Nevada

When Henry Ruggs was kicked off the team, the Raiders lost their deep threat element, which had a massive impact on the offense.

They will need to find someone who can fill that role, and a player like Nevada’s Romeo Doubs provides that exact skill set. According to PPF, Doubs ranked 25th in the country with 12 deep catches, so he has a proven track record of winning down the field.

Nevada’s competition was not always great, so he will need to prove he can still create separation against better corners in Mobile. And he will also need to show he can avoid some of the concentration drops that plagued him in college. Because at 6’1 and 205 lbs, Doubs can be a highly productive receiver in the NFL with his size and speed. He even shows some ability to make plays after the catch as well.

The Raiders need to add a number one type receiver, but later on day 2 of the draft, Doubs provides a needed skill set and a ton of potential for more.
