Raiders: 4 potential free agent replacements for Marcus Mariota
Trevor Siemian
Since being the starting quarterback for the Denver Broncos at times from 2015 through 2017, Trevor Siemian has made a lot of stops. He has played in Minnesota, New York, and New Orleans, where he had to step in as a starter this past season for head coach Sean Payton.
Now a free agent, he could be an interesting name to keep an eye on, as he has experience in the AFC West, and would be a much better option than Nathan Peterman in 2022. He has been through the fires of starting in the NFL and actually logged 24 starters as an AFC West starter during his time in Denver.
Siemian is not the sexiest name in the world, but he is a veteran quarterback who has a 41-to-27 touchdown-to-interception ratio during his time in the NFL. While I would not be comfortable with him taking over a long stretch for Carr, he could win a few games if need be.
