Raiders: 5 free agent WRs to target if they cannot land Davante Adams

Mike Williams

If Las Vegas is looking for a big, talented receiver this free-agent period, then they may want to look at one of their divisional rivals. Williams is a talented reiver that can really work the sideline to his advantage, using his bigger frame and good speed to beat corners in one-on-one situations. That is what Bryan Edwards was supposed to be for Vegas, but it hasn’t really worked that way. So, Ziegler may look to replace Edwards with someone more talented and experienced like Williams.

Over the past three seasons, Williams has had two seasons where he exceeded 1,000 yards receiving. His best season came this past year when he had 1146 receiving yards, 76 receptions, and nine touchdowns. And throughout his career, he’s been known for his ability to find the endzone, scoring 26 touchdowns in 62 games.

Williams’ career numbers and his production this past season would warrant a decent contract, but his contract wouldn’t be nearly as high as Adams’ would. If Ziegler could swing a good deal, he may bring Williams in, as he could be the best outside receivers that Vegas has had in recent years.
