Jarvis Landry

Rumor has it that Landry may be looking to follow in the footsteps of his former teammate Odell Beckham and ask for a trade out of Cleveland. If Landry is looking for a new home, then Ziegler and Las Vegas may be interested in moving some pieces to get him from Cleveland.

Landry was a top receiver in Miami, either breaking the 1,000 receiving yards mark every season or coming close. The same was true in his first two seasons with Cleveland, before taking a dip in 2020 and 2021. The latter year was especially tough for Landry, as he only played in 12 games, earned 570 receiving yards, and scored twice. This was largely because he struggles with injuries this season that caused him to miss five games.

If Ziegler and company find that Landry’s injuries won’t be a lasting issue and that they won’t have to send over too many assets to Cleveland, then it may be enough for them to bring him to the desert. He is in the last year of his contract too, so if he joins the Silver and Black then Ziegler will likely have to offer him a new deal.

Likely, that contract wouldn’t be an expensive one, especially when the team would be getting a talented receiver like Landry.
