3 best fits for the Las Vegas Raiders in 2022 free agency
No. 3: DE/OLB Von Miller
This is considering the Raiders will be installing a new 3-4 defense, which by the time this article is published could be the case.
The Raiders faithful are very familiar with Von Miller, considering up until this season he had played for years with a divisional rival in the Denver Broncos.
This season Miller split his time with the Broncos and his current team, the Los Angeles Rams, after a mid-season trade that paid off heavily for the Rams as he has played a key role in their current Super Bowl Run.
At 32-years-old it may seem that his best days are possibly behind him, but even at his advanced age, Miller is still highly productive, and this is showing currently as he has become one of the top defensive players on a loaded Rams defense.
He likely will not command top dollar at his age, and also might welcome an opportunity to play again in the AFC West, and with such a young core of players who could eventually thrive in a 3-4 defense. Helping in the development of Divine Deablo and Malcolm Koonce, Miller could also still show he has plenty left in the tank and provide a Raiders team hell-bent on success now so more than later, the opportunity to become true contenders and pose a dangerous pass rush that will see this team get over the hump.
It is not likely Miller comes, but his arrival is enticing and would make this Raiders pass rush even more dangerous paired with the likes of defensive ends Maxx Crosby and Yannick Ngakoue.
