Giants defensive free agents the Las Vegas Raiders should target

No. 2: S Jabrill Peppers

Turning our attention to the secondary, the Raiders got great play from rookie Tre’Von Moehrig this past season, a player they traded up in the second round to get. While Moehrig showed he has the ability to be a standout safety at the NFL level, we still do not know what we are going to get from Johnathan Abram long-term.

With a new regime in town, one who did not draft Abram in the first round back in 2019, his time on the Raiders could be coming to an end. This is going to be a make-or-break season for him and based on his production, and injury history, Las Vegas would be wise to take a look at Giants safety Jabrill Peppers.

Peppers is a hard-hitting safety, and someone who plays with a giant chip on his shoulder, something that will make him a fan favorite in Vegas. He could be available based on his relationship with Graham, and the emergence of Xavier McKinney for the Giants last season, making him expendable, and available this offseason.
