Members of the Las Vegas Raiders that made their respective Pro Bowl debuts put on a show at Allegiant Stadium, leading the AFC to a victory.

Most fans tend to disregard the Pro Bowl as a glorified practice, meant to simply make more money off of the live crowds. While there’s an argument to be made there, the fact is, it’s still a game. With that being said, the members of the Las Vegas Raiders who made the cut this year made the most of their participation.

Moreover, this week’s festivities put the spotlight on Sin City ahead of the Super Bowl next Sunday. Las Vegas is unmistakably known for its glitz and glamour. More specifically, the casinos, the majestic hotels, and all the prize fights (both UFC and boxing), though pro football has never been associated with the desert wonderland unless you count sports betting.

However, since coming to Las Vegas, the Raiders, and to a larger extent, the NFL, have really begun to stake a claim here. In addition, the NFL draft is coming up in April, which will put Allegiant and, to a lesser extent, the Raiders in the spotlight.

The fact that Denzel Perryman made his second Pro Bowl and Maxx Crosby, Hunter Renfrow, and AJ Cole made their respective debuts helped add to the appeal of the Pro Bowl for Raider Nation, which, by the way, made their presence known today at Allegiant.

If nothing else, it goes to show you that the Raider faithful support their players no matter the setting.
