5 draft targets to watch after the 2022 Senior Bowl

Travis Jones: Nose Tackle, Uconn

There aren’t many positive things about Uconn football right now, but Travis Jones but the university on his back this past week in Mobile.

His power stood out in a stacked defensive line group, and he even beat Zion Johnson in one-on-one drills. Jones should bring immediate run defense to any team that drafts him, but he seemed to surprise many scouts in attendance was his pass-rush ability.

Georgia’s Jordan Davis is the biggest name amongst the nose tackles in this draft, but if you want to wait on filling that role, Jones is an excellent second option.

The Raiders could be losing both Quintin Jefferson and Jonathan Hankins to free agency a month from now. So Jones may be a cheaper solution.
