5 draft targets to watch after the 2022 Senior Bowl

Troy Andersen: Linebacker, Montana State

Another small school prospect, Montana State’s Troy Andersen, looked like he belonged on the field in Mobile. This may not sound like much until you find out that Alexander has only played linebacker full-time for two years. He was a quarterback and running at different points in college.

At 6’3 and 242 lbs, Andersen showed a ton of athleticism and held his own against any tight end in coverage.

There will always be guys in the draft who may not have the resume to be taken very high but possess athletic traits that will entice any front office. Andersen has the excuse of being very raw at the position, so his room to grow is massive.

And with coverage ability being so crucial for a modern linebacker, he will undoubtedly draw some attention in the middle of the draft.

This season, none of the Raiders linebackers graded that well in PFF coverage grade, so they could certainly use that skill set.
