Offense heading into 2022

Quarterback Derek Carr had one of his best seasons yet while breaking the Raiders single-season passing yards record. Impressively, he was able this with his top target in tight end Darren Waller missing a huge chunk of the season due to injury. Also, he lost his top receiver in Henry Ruggs III.

That meant Carr had to rely on a slot receiver in Hunter Renfrow as his top target, and he certainly did not disappoint, racking up over 1,000 yards on the season.

With McDaniels entering the fray, Carr should have an even bigger season, not to mention if the Raiders decide to use some draft capital on the receiver position, or possibly swing for the fences in free agency by adding star wideout Davante Adams or another big-name player in a wide receiver free-agent class that is the best it has been in years.
