5 pending free agents in Super Bowl LVI Raiders should target in 2022

No. 2: Von Miller, OLB/DE, Los Angeles Rams

The Los Angeles Rams swung a trade during the 2021 regular season for Denver Broncos legend Von Miller, a guy who has killed the Raiders throughout his career. Due to injury, his run in Los Angeles got off to a slow start, but during their path to the Super Bowl, he has looked like Von Miller of old.

When I say the word old, Miller is old in terms of the NFL game and is someone who could be had for a lot less than he previously was being paid this offseason. Miller is making close to $20 million this season, but that number could be cut in half this offseason, and the Raiders should at least make a run at him.

Miller is the kind of veteran that this new regime is going to want to bring in, as he is a consummate professional, and has proven that he can still play at a high level. He would fill a few voids on this Raiders defense, and knows the AFC West, making him a very interesting free agent target this offseason.
