Chippewas . Bernhard Raimann. 53. player. 403. . Offensive Tackle

Outside of wide receiver, the Raiders bringing in talent at offensive tackle is the No. 1 priority for the Silver and Black in the NFL Draft. In fact, I would not be upset if they went offensive tackle in the first round, as there are some talented players to take on Day 1, as well as some that have a first-round grade and could fall to Day 2.

That is where the Raiders select Central Michigan star Bernhard Raimann with pick No. 53 overall, an absolute wall at the offensive tackle position. He showed at the Senior Bowl that he is one of the best-of-the-best in terms of the position group in this class, and could slide right into a starting role on this offensive line in 2022.

Alex Leatherwood in the first round was a miss last season, and he has been kicked inside to guard, making the need for a starting right tackle a priority this offseason. Raimann has the experience, size, and strength to compete for a starting job in Year 1, and if he can fill that role, the Raiders would have young bookends at the tackle spots for years to come.
