One of the bigger stories of the 2021 college football season was the Cincinnati Bearcats, an AAC school that went undefeated and punched their ticket to the College Football Playoff. They were the first non-Power 5 schools to make the Final Four, and while they lost in the Semifinal round, they certainly proved to have a ton of NFL talent on both sides of the ball.

In the secondary, the Bearcats may have had the best cornerback duo in the country, as Ahmad Gardner and Coby Bryant dominated offenses all season long. While Gardner is a player who should go in the first round, Bryant could fall into Day 3, where the Raiders need to be waiting with open arms.

We still do not know what the ceiling is for Trayvon Mullen, and while Casey Hayward was outstanding last season, he is entering a free agency year once again. Cornerback is going to be a position the Raiders need to target in the draft and in free agency this offseason, as Nate Hobbs is the only cornerback under contract for 2022 that has proven he can be a full-time starter so far.
