Las Vegas Raiders: Super Bowl Week 2022 7-round NFL Mock Draft

Raiders pick back-to-back in Round 5
In Round 5, the Las Vegas Raiders will hold two picks, and luckily for them, they will be back-to-back selections. With pick No. 163 overall, the Raiders should look to bolster the defensive line, as defensive tackle is a spot where multiple players are entering free agency, and decisions will have to come in terms of who to bring back.
One player they could target in the fifth round is Stanford star Thomas Booker, who is someone who could bring flexibility to this depth chart at defensive tackle. He is also explosive for a man his size, while also proving to be solid against the run during his time with the Cardinal.
After adding talent to the interior of the defensive line, the Raiders go back and get some depth for the interior of the offensive line, adding Cade Mayes from Tennessee. Mays is considered an elite pass protector, and after the Raiders struggled so much at the guard positions in 2022, he could come in and provide excellent depth as a rookie.
Offensive guard is a position to watch this offseason, as we will see if Ziegler is comfortable with the combination of Leatherwood and John Simpson in 2022. They could decide to go interior offensive line earlier in the draft, but at No. 164, an experienced offensive guard like Mays would be an excellent get.
