Raiders: Could a Nelson Agholor return be in the future?

Does it make sense?

The truth is, the wide receiver spot for the Raiders is a position group that will be targeted in a big way this offseason, especially with McDaniels coming in as the head coach. As it stands, the Silver and Black have a star in Hunter Renfrow, but Bryan Edwards has been wildly inconsistent, and Zay Jones is entering free agency.

Many mock drafts have the Raiders going after a wide receiver in the first or second round, and there is some talent there to be had. However, a player like Agholor, who knows McDaniels’s system, and is a proven target for Derek Carr, could be someone that makes a lot of sense for this offense in 2022.

When it comes to Agholor, of course, it makes sense for the team to take a look at his availability, as his rapport with Carr was outstanding in his only season with the franchise. With a new regime at the helm and one he trusts, you have to think that a return to Vegas is at least something to think about this offseason.
