The Las Vegas Raiders have needed help on defense for years now, and that does not change as we enter another crucial offseason.

Going into another crucial offseason, the Las Vegas Raiders have plenty of issues on the defensive side of the ball. This is a group that took a step forward under defensive coordinator Gus Bradley last season, but with Patrick Graham coming into the franchise as the new DC, things are going to change in a big way.

Here, we look at each defensive position group entering the offseason, giving them a grade before the party gets started.

Defensive Tackle

As was the case last season, the Las Vegas Raiders may have to shuffle the deck along the defensive line this offseason. Johnathan Hankins is on the active roster going into this offseason, but outside of him, most of the free agents the Raiders brought in last offseason were on one-year/prove-it deals.

Las Vegas will have to figure out what they want to do with guys like Quinton Jefferson, Solomon Thomas, Darius Philon, and Gerald McCoy. All four are solid players who the current regime should take a look at, but when all is said and done, just Hankins and Kendall Vickers return from last year’s team.
