Here, we take a look at each position group and hand out some grades before the 2022 offseason kicking off.
Raiders: Grading the offensive position groups entering the 2022 offseason
Quarterback
This offseason, both Marcus Mariota and Nathan Peterman will be entering free agency, leaving the Raiders with only Derek Carr on the active roster. While Carr is one of the better quarterbacks in the NFL and the starter for the team in 2022, it remains to be seen what the Silver and Black plan to do behind him next season.
With Josh McDaniels coming at head coach, he could go with a few names he is familiar with, including Brian Hoyer and Jacoby Brissett, two players who played for him in New England. Carr was been incredibly durable during his eight seasons as a starter, but getting a reliable backup is paramount this offseason.
