Raiders: Derek Carr trade scenarios abound amid extension rumors

Derek Carr, a Bronco?

Yeah, you heard that correctly. Would the Denver Broncos actually try to acquire Carr? The Denver Post recently posed the question of whether “Broncos Country” would welcome No. 4 with open arms. Mark Kiszla, a writer for the Post, admitted that Denver would be better off trying to get their hands on Carr than drafting Kenny Pickett.

Fair enough. However, there’s been no indication that John Elway and Co. would actually entertain a deal if Carr’s extension fell through. Carr has a long history in the AFC West and has dominated the Broncos as of late, so this franchise has seen how good he could be within the right system.

Regardless of what happens, it’s obvious that the NFL world has its eyes set on talks between Carr and the Raiders. Stay tuned, Raider Nation. This will be an interesting offseason.
