Analyzing the Raiders offensive tackles entering the 2022 offseason
After evaluating the quarterback, running back, wide receiver, and tight end position, next is the offensive tackle spots for the 2022 Las Vegas Raiders entering the offseason. The Raiders line was in shambles for much of the season, which makes the play of Quarterback Derek Carr all the more impressive considering his weaknesses under pressure.
The Raiders struggled to consistently give Carr a clean pocket and often forced him to improvise, which worked. The Raiders tackle situation is complicated for several reasons. However, if this team is truly looking to take a leap this season, addressing the right tackle position is going to be the main focal point of the offseason.
Kolton Miller is a star at the left tackle spot, and the Raiders have gone out of their way the past few years to upgrade on the right side. Nothing has worked, as even a Pro Bowl talent like Trent Brown could not get it done with the franchise.
