5 wide receivers the Raiders should target in the 2022 NFL Draft

Drake London, USC

Drake London is another receiver that the Raiders will have to use their 22nd overall pick on but he might be really worth it. The thing about this draft that is unlike usual drafts is that there is no true No. 1 wideout prospect, and many could be the first one off the board.

Take London for example, as he has tremendous height, measuring at 6’5, and is a former basketball player as well so he has the skills to go up and make almost any contested catch. But London lacks short field quickness and the lateral speed down the field to create a ton of space that way.

In his three year career at USC, London finished with over 3,000 yards and 15 total touchdowns with 1,064 yards, and seven of those touchdowns came last season. Since London is a two sport athlete he uses his basketball, elite contested catching skills, and his height to beat his opponents down the field since he lacks the downfield speed in order to create separation.

50/50 balls aren’t actually 50/50 balls when thrown to Drake London. London would be a great addition to the Raiders receiving corps and would be one of the top redzone or third down options for the Raiders if they do decide to draft him.
