Las Vegas Raiders: 3 Interior OL free agents to target in 2022

Raiders free agent target: Connor Williams, OG

Connor Williams has consistently improved each year for the Dallas Cowboys, primarily as a left guard, since 2018. Much like Tomlinson, Wiliams would provide a replacement for Richie Incognito. In fact, Wiliams is only 24 years old, so if the Raiders want to rejuvenate their o-line, he’s the answer.

Per PFF, Williams’ run-blocking grades have been solid the last two years, at 71.3 and 76.0, respectively. By the same token, Williams isn’t a one-trick pony; his pass-blocking abilities were sound across the board. In fact, he only allowed 22 pressures last year. That’s something that would aid in keeping Derek Carr upright.

Though he fits better in an outside zone blocking scheme, Williams has upside as a former second-round selection.

He’s predicted to garner a three-year deal with about $12.5 million guaranteed according to PFF. Certainly, a worthy investment for the Raiders considering their window right now is within the next two years.
