Raiders pending Free Agents

The Raiders’ free-agent decisions are likely pretty simple. Richie Incognito is likely on his way out the door after playing one game in the past two seasons. Incognito competed for his job this season but at age 38, his best years are likely behind him.

Nick Martin barely saw the field in 2021 as a backup center who has started many games in his career. He likely joined the Raiders thinking he had a chance at a starting position but didn’t know how high the Raiders were on James. Look for Martin to seek out a starting position elsewhere.

Jermaine Eluemenor is an intriguing option to return to a depth role because of his familiarity with Josh McDaniels. He was benched after a few starts in favor of the Leatherwood-Brandon Parker combo and isn’t much better than their other depth options.

Finally, Jordan Simmons is a restricted free agent but he is also a practice squad level talent who is unlikely to be tendered after getting passed up by Cotton on the roster towards the end of last season.
