Raiders 2022 7-round NFL Mock Draft: Las Vegas fixes OT problem early
By Brad Weiss
The Raiders hold back-to-back picks in the fifth round, and in our latest mock draft, they add a wide receiver to mix at selection No. 163 overall. Las Vegas has serious issues at this position group heading into the offseason, as Henry Ruggs III is gone, and both DeSean Jackson and Zay Jones are entering free agency.
With this pick, the Raiders go back to a familiar school to nab a fifth-round wideout, much like they did with Hunter Renfrow back in 2019. The pick here is Justyn Ross, a player who was once considered a first-round talent, but one who has had to deal with injuries during his time with the Clemson Tigers.
Las Vegas could certainly go with a wide receiver early in the 2022 NFL Draft, as it is one of the position groups where they need an influx of talent the most. However, getting Ross this late would be an excellent get for the Silver and Black, because if he is healthy, he is going to be a solid playmaker at the next level.
