Raiders: Stealing one player from each AFC North team in 2022 free agency
Baltimore Ravens: Calais Campbell, DT
The Raiders will be switching to a 3-4 base defense this upcoming season, as Patrick Graham joins the team after being the defensive coordinator for the New York Giants last year. Graham has a lot of talent to work with on the edge, with Maxx Crosby and Yannick Ngakoue being one of the better duos in the NFL, but the defensive tackle spot is another story.
During the 2021 offseason, the Raiders rolled the dice on several veterans at defensive tackle, and for the most part, their gambles paid off. However, all of those players are entering free agency, as is Johnathan Hankins, so reloading at the defensive tackle spot is in the cards this offseason.
Enter Calais Campbell, a tremendous veteran talent that is already being called to Vegas by former Jacksonville Jaguars teammate, Yannick Ngakoue. He would be an excellent fit in the middle of this defensive line, proving the team with not only an elite run-stuffer, but someone who can flat out get after the quarterback.
