The Raiders punched their ticket to the postseason for the second time since 2002 this past season, and here is why they will make a return trip.

After the challenges and tragedies that the Las Vegas Raiders went through this season, no one expected them to make the playoff. But that’s exactly where the team found itself come Wild Card Weekend, facing off against a Cincinnati Bengals team that would go on to make the Super Bowl.

Las Vegas will definitely look to have the same success again this season, especially since they brought in a new coach and will likely bring in a few new playmakers. It was a struggle to finally get back to the playoffs last year, as it took a four-game winning streak to close the season, beating some playoff hopefuls along the way.

Looking back, it was a pretty improbable run for the Silver and Black, though they still decided to revamp the leadership this offseason. Josh McDaniels and David Ziegler arrive from New England, bringing a history of winning with them, and hopefully, it will rub off on the franchise in Vegas.

Here are the four reasons why Las Vegas will be able to build upon their success from last season and make the playoffs once more.
