If the Las Vegas Raiders want to build on their second playoff berth in 19 years, some players need to show improvement.

The Las Vegas Raiders hope to pick things up right where they left off after an impressive 2021 campaign. Finishing with their heads in the clouds, things certainly weren’t as smooth as their 10-7 record might suggest.

A midseason head coach swap was only the beginning of this roller coaster year. Pair that with an incident involving a certain wide receiver and sprinkle the Damon Arnette situation on top, and voilà, you have the 2021 Las Vegas Raiders season.

Amidst all that, the Silver and Black were still able to do some incredible things. Being 6-7 after week 14, they banded together and won their last 4 games, propelling them to the postseason. They even took an NFL record with them on the way there; Most ‘last second’ wins in a season by a team in NFL history, with five of their six total coming off the leg of Daniel Carlson.

Now, with a mind clear from the various midseason distractions, quarterback Derek Carr explains he feels that he can’t ‘not be in’ the playoffs after he tasted the postseason first hand. If he wants to make that a reality, here are some Raiders that need to show some improvement.
