1. Josh Jacobs carried the Raiders into the playoffs

One of the most obvious reasons that the Raiders should reward Jacobs would be out of appreciation. At one point, Las Vegas found itself in a tailspin, but things turned around in the final stretch once the run game got going.

It wasn’t until Week 15 that Jacobs had his first 100-plus yard game against the Denver Broncos. After that, there was no looking back for No. 28 as he put the team on his back and willed them into the postseason.

Jacobs scored two touchdowns and gained 324 rushing yards while averaging more than four rushing yards per attempt. Against the Cincinnati Bengals in the playoffs, Jacobs accumulated 83 yards on the ground and caught four passes from Derek Carr for 44 yards.
