Could the Las Vegas Raiders trade for DK Metcalf?

Could the Las Vegas Raiders trade for DK Metcalf?
Should the Raiders make this move?
Making a move of this caliber is not foreign for head coach Josh McDaniels and general manager Dave Ziegler. Back in 2017 when they were with the Patriots, they were in a similar position. Looking to add explosiveness to their offense, they traded for then Saints receiver Brandin Cooks. In doing so, they gave up a first and third-round pick.
This is likely very similar to the price it would take to acquire Metcalf. He is also on an expiring contract which means whatever team trades for him will also want to have an extension in place for him.
For the Raiders, it is a perfect fit. Badly in need of a speed infusion on the outside, Metcalf would allow Carr the ability to take shots downfield like he did early in 2021. Not only that, but he is a reliable option to all levels of the field.
He is a true number one wide receiver who is a fit in any offense and is badly needed by the Raiders.
Of course, players of DK Metcalf’s caliber rarely get traded. Regardless, the Seahawks have done similar things in the past. They traded defensive end, Frank Clark, to the Chiefs at the end of his deal for a first and second-round pick. However, if the perfect storm does arise, the Raiders absolutely should be involved. Metcalf is the game-changing player the Raiders need to take the team to the next level.
