Raiders 2022 free agency: 3 players from 2021 to bring back

Alec Ingold

Alec Ingold is a big part of the heart and soul of this Las Vegas team. He is a vocal leader who helps players get through the ups and downs of the season. Las Vegas needs to bring him back, as he’ll be an integral part of the coaching transition. He, along with guys like Derek Carr and Maxx Crosby, will play a major role in leading the team through a new system and head coach.

Ingold is also an extremely versatile weapon. He can make plays in the run game if the Raiders decide to give him the ball on the ground. He’s also very useful as a pace catcher, catching a handful of touchdowns in the red zone. Ingold is also an invaluable member of the Las Vegas rushing attack, as his blocking played a big role in Josh Jacobs’ success in 2019.

The dynamic fullback has the chance to really flourish in an offense helmed by Josh McDaniels. There is no doubt that he is one of the best fullbacks in the game and bringing him back wouldn’t cost much. So, it really is a no-brainer for Las Vegas to bring back Ingold.
