Raiders saying goodbye to Alec Ingold?

Following the news of the Mack trade, Las Vegas makes two announcements of their own: Fullback Alec Ingold and linebacker Cory Littleton will join the free-agent market.

Ingold, who signed with the Raiders in 2019 as an undrafted free agent, was quietly a star on the offense. As far as his teammates were concerned, there was nothing quiet about it. In just his third season, the fullback earned the respect of the locker room, being voted one of the team’s captains.

It isn’t just the team Ingold left his mark on, though; The fullback carved his own piece of Raider-history when he scored the first touchdown in Allegiant stadium history.

During his three years in Silver and Black, Ingold was an expert at keeping drives alive with 27 first-downs. He was also able to put the ball in the end-zone three times off of his 28 catches. The ’21 captain was best in the passing game, but was still able to show his power on the ground.

Although Ingold will be entering free agency, the Raiders front office stated they haven’t ruled out bringing him back. The social media post they made thanking Alec, however, indicates a different story.
