Hunter Renfrow
Once named third and Renfrow at Clemson, Hunter has continued to embody that in the NFL. The 5th round pick continues to build on his skill set as his career roars onward.
The 5’10, 185lb receiver earned Derek Carr’s trust from the beginning. Recording 30 first downs his rookie year, he seemed to be the guy Carr looked for in the biggest moments, especially as the season progressed.
He’s only gotten better, and oh yeah, now he returns punts too.
Renfrow built on his rookie success by having new career-high yardage, receptions, and first downs in 2020. He upped his catch percentage as well and seemed to make strides in his route running ability.
In 2021, defenses threw everything they had at Hunter. Why? Because he had over 1,000 yards and 100 receptions.
Peter Schrager even went so far as to say, “Hunter Renfrow in a 10-yard box might have the best route running in the entire league”.
This is something Renfrow did consistently as the year went on, earning him a Pro Bowl nod.
The Raiders 7th round pick, Quenton Bell, would be cut before his rookie season began.
